Notice:
As of January 9, 2007, the manner in which files are archived has changed. All files archived after January 9, 2007 are
moved to an archive volume instead of to tape. This means that when you wish to download an image that has been archived, you
will not have to restore off tape first. You can simply download the image as if it was from a live job.
Please note that any jobs that were archived before January 9, 2007 will still remain in the "~ARCHIVES" folder and will need to be restored from tape. If you see a new volume with "Archives" at the end of the name, that means that you have newer jobs archived in this new location.
We are currently looking into ways to allow older jobs to be available using this new method, but for now the older jobs must be loaded from tape.
